Governor of the State of Osun, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, has called on Nigerians to vote out President Goodluck Jonathan and the Peoples Democratic Party in 2015.
The governor spoke through his Special Adviser on Environment, Mr. Bola Ilori in Osogbo, the state capital, on the sidelines of a forum with workers of the Ministry of Environment.
According to Aregbesola, the nation had almost been grounded by the PDP, which had occupied the Presidency since May 29, 1999 when the country returned to democratic governance.
Ilori assured workers in the state that the governor would not sack any of them on the account of voting against him during the August 9 governorship election, which Aregbesola won.
He said they all had the liberty to vote for the candidate of their choice without fear of harassment.
The governor’s aide said, “Nigerians must vote against the PDP in 2015 presidential election for the nation to move forward. The nation needs a President who can steer its ship from the brink of collapse.
“The All Progressives Congress will present such leader, in fact there are many of them within the party and the person who would be presented would be capable of developing the nation”.
Ah, it seems Aregbesola is breating fine now,thank God he won re-election. Nig will be good when patriotic political parties – including opposition are in power, with defined ideology. For now, no opposition. Any time APC wrong Aregbesola, off he goes to ANY other (no ideological difference). Nig need leaders not political applicants that can do any thing including killing their parents and sleeping with their daughters just to clinch power. Who wants to be Nigerian politician?
the gov.should call all his household and tell that.and more so,let know that u want a member of terrorism or sponsors of it in APC fold to be the president as a measure to call ur bokohaqam boys to order.but u can’t chose for us,nigerians are wiser now they know that APC is not a party but islamic agenda/terrorism practises whose plan is to destroy the Govt.of jonathan due to he is not a muslim and take over power from him but u guys are joking/dreamer,if u like send u people can send all the bokoboys in ur camp to bomb every were highest if it become too much we divide the country but for jonather to lose election come 2015 is imporssible for ur notice.
