Veteran Nollywood actor, producer now turned politician — Desmond Elliot, decided to honor late JT Tom West who died in 2006.
Being looked upon as a mentor was JT Tom West, who was a very influential actor in the industry.
Desmond Elliot, who is now heading into the political arena, took to Twitter to express his feelings about the late Rivers State-born Nollywood director.

JT Tom West, credited with giving a number of notable Nollywood figures today including Desmond Elliot, Kate Henshaw and others their first big breaks, died in a car accident in 2006 after rounding up at late night shooting and was on his way back to base.
