APC Donates N5m To Victims Of Kano Bombing

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday donated N5 million to victims of the bomb blast at the Kano Central Mosque on Friday.

National Chairman of the party, Chief John Oyegun paid a condolence visit to Gov. Rabi’u Kwankwaso at the Government House, Kano where he announced the donation.

“I want, to on behalf of the APC, convey a truly heartfelt condolence and sympathy to the government and people of Kano State over the sad incident,” Oyegun said.

He noted that the recent incidents in Kano and Yobe States stressed how important it is for efforts aimed at ending insurgency to be increased.

Kwankwaso, who was represented by his Deputy, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, in his response thanked the APC leadership for its concern.

He assured that the government would continue to work with various security agencies in order to ensure lives and property of its citizen are secured.
