Reigning English Champions Manchester City have agreed on a loan deal for defender Matija Nastasic to German side, Schalke until the end of the season. Information Nigeria understands.
The 21-year old was signed by ex-City boss Roberto Mancini in August 2012.
However, since the Italian left the club, he has struggled to appear in the first team and his last appearance was the 3-0 thumping by Arsenal in the Community Shield.
He made just 11 league starts under Pellegrini last season.
“Schalke have now agreed with Manchester City the final details of a loan for Matija Nastasic subject to a medical,” a statement on Schalke’s website said.
