Boxing legend Muhammad Ali has been readmitted to hospital for treatment for a urinary tract infection.
“There were further issues with the earlier diagnosis of a urinary tract infection,” family spokesman Bob Gunnell said.
Gunnell added that the three-time former heavyweight world champion was in a stable condition and was expected to be discharged on Friday an undisclosed hospital.
Ali, 72, was released from hospital earlier this month following a two-week treatment.
The American has been struggling with Parkinson’s disease since diagnoses in 1984.
