The All Progressives Congress, Adamawa State chapter, is set to re-launch its campaign across the 21 local governments of the state ahead of the March 28 and April 11 elections.

While making the disclosure during a stakeholders meeting in Yola, the Adamawa State capital on Saturday, the Director General of Jibrilla Bindo Governorship Campaign Organization, Abdurrahaman Jimeta, said the move was to enhance the chances of the party in the rescheduled elections.

Jimeta noted that the rescheduled campaign tour that would commence on March 6 would be the third time the party would tour the state.

The APC had earlier toured towards the October 11 by-election, which was later cancelled and the general elections previously slated for February.

“We shall re-launch another campaign rally as the previous campaigns have been nullified with the shifting of the February polls”, Mr. Jimeta said. “This time around we shall restrict our campaign rallies to the headquarters of the local government unlike what obtains during the previous rallies where we visited most of the wards due to time constraint”.

He added that the party would also use the window provided to kick-start ward-to-ward and house-to-house campaign across the state.

Mr. Jimeta urged the party stakeholders to endure in view of the paucity of funds within the party. He noted that such personal sacrifices by members of the party made APC the party to beat in Nigeria.

He promised those who invest their time of adequate compensation if the party wins the election, just as he added that efforts of individual members of the party was being noted and would be rewarded adequately.
