Nigeria Under-17 national team lost Sunday’s classification match to Guinea and finished fourth in the 11th African Junior Championship in Niamey, Niger Republic.
Victor Osimhen placed the Golden Eaglets ahead in 28th minute to take his tally at this year’s African Under-17 Championship to four.
Aboubacar Traore drew level for the Syli Juniors four minutes after the half-hour mark before Abdoulaye Jules Keita closed out an emphatic victory with a brace in the 39th and 53rd minute.
Both countries, who earlier played out a 1-1 draw in the group stages, are through to Fifa Under-17 World Cup in Chile in October and will be joined by Sunday’s finalists South Africa and Mali.
