Keshi Name 26 Glo NPFL Players For Afcon Qualifier

Nigeria senior men’s national team coach, Stephen Keshi has called up 26 players from the domestic league for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad.

Three-time winners Super Eagles will host Chad in Kaduna on 13 June in a Group G Afcon 2017 qualifier.

Seven players from Nigeria’s sole representatives in the Caf Confederation Cup, Warri Wolves, are included in the squad. Goo Premier League champions, Kano Pillars, have four of their players in the team, which also includes first-timers; goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa of Sunshine Stars, Enyimba’s Chinedu Udoji, Samuel Olabisi of FC Taraba and Michael Egbeta of Warri Wolves.

Egypt host Tanzania in the other Group G match.
