Marc Muniesa Fit To Return For Stoke City

Stoke City defender, Marc Muniesa is available for selection after recovering from a torn hamstring.

The Spaniard, 23, has not featured for the Potters since their defeat at Blackburn Rovers in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Muniesa has been passed fit for first-team action after playing for 60 minutes for Stoke’s under-21 team this week.

Mark Hughes’ side are at home to Tottenham Hotspur this weekend and Muniesa hopes to stage his Premier League comeback.

“I said to the coaches after the game against Swansea that I did not play in that I wanted to play and wanted to be involved again,” Muniesa, who joined Stoke in the summer of 2013 and has made a total of 38 appearances in all competitions, told BBC Radio Stoke.
