Veteran and controversial Nollywood star, Emeka Ike has revealed that he knows nothing about the reports of his wife getting a divorce, and stories of him physically abusing his wife, Emma Ike.
On July 8, 2015, news hit social media that Emma Ike is currently filing divorce after years of physical abuse from her actor husband.
Speaking to E-Rave, the actor says he has no knowledge about the story. “I know nothing about what you are saying, so what do you want me to comment on“.
At the first proceeding of the court case Mrs. Ike reportedly said “It was when my husband beat me mercilessly that I believed people truly saw stars whenever they were unconscious. It was my brother who took me to the hospital where I spent two months. There was also a day I was feeding our last child with tea, my husband, out of anger took the tea and poured it on my head.”
This is not the first time a story of Emeka Ike assaulting his wife has come up.
In 2014, Emeka Ike reportedly separated from his wife over domestic violence reports.
