Members of a church in New York, were shocked to learn that their elderly priest has divorced his wife to marry a much younger man.
According to Odd News Blog, 59-year-old Reverent Juan Andres Quevedo-Bosch of Queens, announced last week that he married his much younger husband at a church in Los Angeles, California. After the wedding, the priest uploaded a picture on Facebook with the caption: “I’m in Miami Beach with my new husband. God is good.”
After hearing about the wedding, many members of the church cut ties with the priest and stopped attending services. However, the priest still has a large following despite coming out as gay. After publicly offering to resign, many people signed a petition, urging Quevedo-Bosch to remain.
Some followers refuse to accept the new reality, saying that as far they are concerned, Quevedo-Bosch is still married to his 73-year-old wife Adria. The website of the church still claims that Quevedo-Bosch lives with his wife, Adria, who enjoys house music and breakdancing.
