Reports say that Rihanna is pissed at Rita Ora for recording a song – Body On Me – with her ex boyfriend, Chris Brown.
According to The Sun, the Barbadian singer is jealous about Chris Brown getting close to Rita Ora.
A source tells the site:
“There’s no lost love between them, but this is another example of what Rihanna perceives to be a lack of respect by Rita. Chris and Rihanna have a long history and she hit the roof when she heard about Body On Me – especially the video.”
Funny enough, Brown had infamously assaulted the Grammy award winning singer in 2009, by hitting her so forcefully that she had major bruises on her face, a split lip, and a bloody nose. However, the two of them still have a strong and complicated bond, despite their public breakup.
Brown recently admitted that he is still in love with Rihanna.
During an interview with Tim Westwood, Brown was asked why he chose the song, to which he replied:
“She’s my homie though. We knew each other since we were 14, 15 so with that kind of history, we are always going to be cool. I don’t get jealous. I don’t get mad. I got nothing but love and respect for her. I respect her as an artist. Obviously people are going to make a spectacle, like ‘Oh, he’s playing her music!’ But who doesn’t? I’m pretty sure she plays my music.”
