A woman was severely injured by her husband who was angry with her. Police said that the man of Shandong, China, bit the nose of his wife and swallowed it because she did not answer his phone calls. Scoop has more:
The woman who lives in Dezhou, told police that her husband called in the early hours of the morning after she finished her night shift, but she did not answer because she was too tired. The man confronted his wife in their home the next day, and the two got into a heated argument.
At one point, the husband grabbed his wife, and pulled her close to him. He then clenched his teeth on her nose and ripped it off.
The woman was taken to a hospital, where doctors discovered that her nose was gone. When asked if she managed to save the body part, the woman told surgeons that her husband swallowed it. Police have launched an investigation into the incident and they are looking for the husband, but so far, he remains on the run.
