The spokesperson for the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, said that the boy’s mother, 35-year-old Angela K. Kipp of Syracuse, was backing out of her driveway when she suddenly jumped out of the vehicle after realizing that there was a spider on her shoulder.

However, her son was still in the van. The 9-year-old boy jumped over to the driver’s seat and attempted to stop the car.  However, he hit the accelerator instead of the brake, causing the vehicle to collide with the passing school bus.
