President Muhammadu Buhari has not assigned portfolios to the ministers-designate, the Presidency clarified on Sunday.
This is just as indications emerged that the Senate was yet to communicate to the Presidency its clearance of the second batch of 18 ministers.
The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina, said last night that any list of portfolios for the ministers was only the imagination of persons spreading it.
“When the president is ready to swear in the ministers, he will say so and allocate portfolios”, Adesina said.
The presidential spokesman also dropped the hint that the swearing-in of the ministers-designate might “likely be this week”.
