Former wife of popular 90’s rapper, Zaaki Azzay was recently honored by Project Alert for her brave fight against gender based violence, domestic and sexual violence.

Hadiza Yadoo Anyamikegh was given the ‘Heroes Award’ over the weekend during the 16th anniversary celebration of Project Alert.

In 2012, Hadiza Yadoo Anyamikegh filed for divorce from Zaaki Azzay saying that the veteran rapper physically abused her during their marriage.
She had three children for him before the divorce.

Zaaki Azzay got married for the second time in 2014.
