Jonathan’s Administration Is Responsible For Nigeria’s Security Challenges, Chief Of Air Staff

The Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar, has blamed the current security challenges in Nigeria on the failure of past administrations to address the needs of the people and that of the military.

Speaking, Thursday while delivering a lecture at the National Defence College in Abuja, Abubakar highlighted the challenges and future perspectives of the Nigerian Air Force and expressed concerns on the neglect of the military and its impact on the war against insurgency.

He also pointed out that Nigeria’s porous borders is another reason for its security challenges, as it aided the illegal importation of small and light arms.

However, the CAS assured the citizens that the Nigerian Air Force is being re-positioned to meet the nation’s contemporary security challenges.
