The National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prof. Wale Oladipo, on Monday, denied media reports alleging that he received N75 million from the ex-National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, part of the raging $2.1 billion arms procurement funds.

Speaking in a statement in Abuja, on Monday, Oladipo said: “Before and after the elections, I had no financial dealings with the Office of the National Security Adviser or any other government official.

“The report is clearly politically motivated. I affirm that all my actions and communications are motivated by highest ideals of patriotism, transparency and commitment to national reformation.”

The PDP scribe explained that the monetary transactions he handled were merely in relation to his official duties as the national secretary of the party, insisting that at no point did he collect money from either the ex-NSA Dasuki or any other government official.
