Militants Continue Attacks On Chevron Facility In Delta

Chevron Nigeria Limited’s (CNL) Makaraba line in Warri South West local government area which has already been shutdown by militant attacks in Delta state was reportedly hit by more explosions in the early hours of Friday.

According to Vanguard, a source said unknown persons detonated another explosive on the oil Well 10 on the Makaraba oil line which had been out of use since penultimate Wednesday following insurgent attack on the offshore Okan manifold.

Nigeria lost oil output of about 40,000 barrels per day following last week’s attacks on the company facility in Otunana, Abiteye and Makaraba platforms.
