Despite reports of Zlatan Ibrahimovich joining the Red Devils, Manchester United have unveiled their first signing-Eric Bailly– under the new head coach, Jose Mourinho.
22 year old Eric Bailly who joined Spanish side Villareal just last season put in several impressive performances which caught the eye of United scouts. The Red Devils desperately need a central defender to pair with Chris Smalling as Marcos Rojo has proved a bit too injury prone and inconsistent to be considered a true first team player.
Bailly has signed a four year contract with Manchester United after Villareal insisted on £30m for their prized central defender.
United are expected to make several more signings in their bid to finish within the top four as the English Premier League is bound to be more competitive next season.
