The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday slammed President Muhammadu Buhari, labeling him an “unrepentant tyrant”.
The opposition party also lampooned the governing All Progressives Congress, APC, for its ignorance of the tenets of democracy.
The PDP, which made these assertions via its twitter handle, @PdpNigeria, said since the APC took over the leadership of the country last year May, prices of goods and services, especially foodstuff, have been on the increase.
“This is a government that does not know what democracy or rule of law means. This president is an unrepentant tyrant,” it said.
Making mockery of the APC’s slogan of ‘Change’, the party added “CHANGE: A bag of rice is now N18, 000. Minimum wage is also N18, 000”.
