Bindow To Critics: Academic Certificates Not Guarantee For Performance

Governor Jibrilla BindowGovernor Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa State has declared that educational qualification is not necessarily a guarantee that elected office holders will perform according to expectations.

The governor, who stated this at the flagging off of a 37.5 kilometer road in Shelleng Local Government Area of the state at the weekend, said the essence of leadership was service delivery to the people, not flaunting academic certificates.

“Leadership does not depend on speaking English vocabularies, but by fulfilling the promises made to the people, especially the poor”, he said.
