Two inmates who escaped from the Kuje Medium Prison, Abuja last Friday, have been re-arrested.
The inmates – Maxwell Ajukwu and Solomon Amodu – standing trial for culpable homicide, were remanded in the prison before they capitalized on a security lapse to escape.

However, their “freedom” was short-lived as they were re-arrested less than a week after their jailbreak and are currently being detained at the headquarters of the Department of State Services, DSS, in Abuja.
Nigerian Prison Service officials confirmed the re-arrest of the inmates but refused to state where or how they were caught.
