The Lagos State Government announced on Sunday that it as sealed until further notice the Western Lodge Hotel, located on Isawo Road, in Ikorodu area of the state, over alleged illegal and criminal activities.
The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Steve Ayorinde made this disclosure in a statement saying the hotel has recently been associated with criminal activities according to investigations.
While urging the members of the public to be on the look out for criminals and not use any buildings around to harbour hoodlums, the commissioner said security officials have been immediately deployed in and around Ikorodu to restate government’s determination in saving lives and properties.
“The State Government warns that it will not hesitate to prosecute and confiscate any building found to have been used or is being used to aid criminal activities, Mr Ayorinde said.
