Manchester City Beat United In Derby

The Manchester Derby is over and City are victors.

Pep Guardiola once again got the better of Jose Mourinho at the Old Trafford and ended Manchester United’s perfect start to the season.

With Aguero out, Kelechi Iheanacho got his first start and Claudio Bravo got his debut. We got a glimpse of the ball playing ability for which JoeBart was shipped off to Torino.

City were the brighter of both teams, claiming the possession and looking dangerous going forward. Kevin De Bruyne was unplayable, stealing the ball off Blind to sneak in the first goal.

In the first half, De Bruyne saw his shot hit the bar, and Iheanacho tapped in the rebound with De Gea rooted to the spot. United had some respite after Bravo failed to hold on to the ball from a cross, allowing Zlatan to score and cut down their lead.

City were able to hold on to their lead and run off with much deserved three points.
