NDLEA Beams Searchlight On Operatives With Links To Drug Syndicates

ndlea2The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has beamed its searchlight on some of its operatives believed to be conniving with suspected drug syndicates.

Chairman and Chief Executive of the NDLEA, Col. Muhammad Mustapha Abdallah (retd.), disclosed this weekend, in his address to officers of the agency at the national headquarters in Ikoyi, Lagos State.

Mr. Abdallah warned that the NDLEA has begun an in-house cleaning, stressing that any officer who engages in acts of compromise and fraternity with drug barons, shall be made to face the full weight of the law.

The NDLEA boss pointed out that he is working very hard in building an agency with zero tolerance for corruption through strict law enforcement.

He also assured the outcome of investigation shall be made public.
