PEFTI unveils new training room

As more Nigerians seek formal training in movie making, Lagos-based PEFTI Film Institute has unveiled a new training room described as a multi-million naira ‘Executive Training Class’.

The 52-seater, fully air-conditioned facility commenced operations with a Canon workshop, showcasing its high-definition projectors, public address system, an ample parking space and two soundproof generators.

According to PEFTI Managing Director, Abiola Adenuga, the institution invested in the facility to assert its leadership role in the sector.

She said in a statement, “PEFTI has several classrooms with varying capacities, as well as a fully-equipped multipurpose hall, which can accommodate 1,200 people. But this new Executive Training Class offers premium comfort and high-end equipment to discerning members of the public. PEFTI will also unveil a series of short executive training sessions for television and radio stations, corporate organisations, government agencies, religious bodies and other organisations that want to add value to their staff in a wide range of areas.”

PEFTI, located in Ajao Estate, is a government-accredited educational establishment, offering National Diplomas in film production, performing arts and music, as well as professional training in script-writing, acting, presentation, digital photography, cinematography and other related areas.
