Comedian Bovi describes former football great Wilson Oruma as a Nigerian hero

Comedian, Bovi recently met former Nigerian international, Wilson Oruma and had amazing words to describe him.

Bovi has described Nigeria’s former international football star, Wilson Oruma as a true Nigerian hero.

The comedian revealed this on his Instagram page on Thursday, February 15, 2018, where he posted a photo of himself and Oruma. A visibly excited Bovi explained that he bumped into the footballer at the home of the Nigeria Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick and had amazing words to describe him.

“Ran into a Nigerian hero today at the NFF presidents house. A hero is one who leaves you with fond memories. Wilson Oruma is a true Nigerian hero,” he captioned the photo.

It would be recalled that back in January 2018, the news broke of the ex-international suffering from a mental breakdown after losing NI.2B in a fake oil business which came as a shock to a lot of Nigerians.

However after the news broke, Wilson Oruma’s younger brother released a photo where he looked all happy and in good shape. Dominic Oruma also revealed that Wilson was recuperating in a Lagos hospital and was in high spirit.

The Nigeria Football Federation’s president, Amaju Pinnick also stepped in to help Wilson Oruma by handling him a coaching role in the Nigeria U-20 team.

To help with his situation, the NFF had promised to integrate the former midfielder into the Nigerian football family.

According to Pinnick, a three bedroom flat has been arranged for the 41-year-old and a role with the Flying Eagles of Nigeria.
