Zubairu’s hands were amputated after he was allegedly brutalized by his teacher
A teacher in Gombe state has landed in serious trouble after allegedly flogging a pupil in a brutal manner which condemned the boy’s hands.
The boy identified as Zubairu landed at a hospital and had his hands amputated at the Federal Medical Centre, Gombe, after the resulting wounds worsened. It was gathered that the hands got badly infected as a result of the brutal flogging.
Zubairu was beaten with cane and brutalized with a knife for committing an undisclosed offence.
