The late Dr. Joe Ukpo

A promising Nigerian politician and civil servant, Dr. Joe Ukpo has died in a tragic accident yesterday after his car somersaulted several times along the road.

It was gathered that the politician based in Abuja was on his way to Okpoma/ Okuku Road in Cross River state when his car was involved in a fatal accident due to bad road.

He gave up the ghost few hours after the accident.

Friends have taken to social media to mourn his death.

Sunny Omagu Ogar wrote:

“JOE UKPO, ochahooho, what world are we living in? Death is wicked. RIP.”

Joe Pat Ogar added:

“Darkness at noon. 

so sad to hear that you are gone. 

rest in peace brotherly. 

joe ukpo, rest in peace. amen.”
