Disappointed that Osinbajo, a professor of Law, isn’t acting like one – Omokri

Former presidential aide and popular opposition voice against the present government, Reno Omokri has he is disappointed at vice President Yemi Osinbajo for asking Yorubas to vote President Muhammadu Buhari because he’d allegedly hand over power to them.

Speaking recently at the palace of the Alaafin, Lamidi Adeyemi 111, OsinbajoMr Buhari asked his kinsmen to vote Buhari because it would be their turn in 2023.

“It is good to pay homage to the palace. I greet you the king, I greet the Alaafin of Oyo and other traditional rulers here present. Anytime I come to the Kabiesi either here or in Abuja, I say it is home coming.”

“The 2019 general elections is our own. We are not looking at the 2019 but 2023. If we get it in 2019, Yoruba will get it in 2023. Because if we don’t get it in 2019, we may not get it in 2023 and it may take a very long time to get it. We need to look at tomorrow and not because of today. What we are doing now is for tomorrow and not for today.”

However in his reaction via his Twitter handle on Sunday, Omokri said Osinbajo, a professor of law, should be asking his people to vote Buhari because he has done well and not because of getting power in 2023.

So disappointing that a Professor of Law like Vice President @ProfOsinbajo would ask Yorubas to vote for @MBuhari, not because Buhari has done well, or because he will do well, but because he will allegedly hand over to a Yoruba. The same promise the SGF made to Igbos last week.
