Fg plotting to hide under the killings in Zamfara by armed bandits to impose emergency rule – Fayose alleges

Immediate past governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose has said that President Muhammadu Buhari, has plans to declare an emergency rule in Zamfara state.

According to Fayose, the federal government will be hiding under the killings in the state, by armed bandits, as a way of forcing the hands of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to accept, All Progressives Congress, APC field candidates in coming elections.

It would be recalled that INEC had declared that the ruling party won’t be Fielding candidates into any position in the state, in the coming elections following their refusal to submit names, as at when they should have.

Meanwhile the President on Monday December 24, in a telephone call to Alhaji Garba Mohammed Tambari, the Emir of Maradun in Zamfara State, expressed sorrow over the loss of lives following attacks on communities in Zamfara State by bandits and cattle rustlers.

Buhari assuring that his government will do everything in its powers to bring to an end the horrendous attacks.

However, speaking via his Twitter handle on Tuesday, Fayose made the following allegations. He wrote:

I have been reliably informed that the FG is plotting to hide under the killings in Zamfara State by armed bandits to impose emergency rule on the state.

This is their response to the insistence of INEC not to allow APC field candidates for the 2019 general election in the state.
