Lawmaker representing Kaduna Central at the senate, Shehu Sani has listed reasons why African governments including Nigeria, are so attracted to loans from China.
The controversial lawmaker said there are four main reasons, why there is a recent surge by many African leaders to turn to China for loans.
According to him, Low interest rates,Flexible conditions of repayment,No political or Human rights conditions attached,Easier to access are part of their reasons – However, the lawmaker warns that African states must exercise caution, as those main reasons could easily be how China, entraps them.
