President Muhammadu Buhari received a telephone call from Bill Gates, congratulating him on his victory at the 2019 presidential election.

Bashir Ahmad, Buhari’s aide on New Media made this known in a statement via Twitter on Wednesday.

Yesterday night, one of the world’s richest men, Bill Gates called President Buhari to congratulate him on his resounding election victory, winning a second four-year term of office.

According to the presidential aide, Mr Gates said he was More than pleased to be associated with Buhari while assuring of his commitment to the success if the administration.

Mr Bill Gates said he’s happy to be associated with President Buhari, restated his commitment to the success of the administration as well as the progress, prosperity and well-being of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He also expressed willingness to do more for the country.
