Just In: Armed Bandits Attack Wedding Ceremony in Kaduna

On Saturday, armed bandits attacked a wedding ceremony in Kakangi village, south-west of Birnin-Gwari of Kaduna State.
It was reported that the bandits stormed Kakangi around 5.00 pm on motorcycles, shooting sporadically and attacked a police station before going  on a house-to-house attack and torching houses.
Many were feared  dead and the six  critically injured victims, among them  children, have been rushed to General Hospital, Birnin Gwari, for treatment.
This attack comes after President Muhammadu Buhari challenged security agencies to intensify efforts to curb the activities of armed bandits across the nation.
