Nigerians have taken to their Twitter handle to fire heavy shots at the Senator representing Bayelsa East Constituency in the National Assembly, Ben Murray Bruce, for sharing that the budget for security is almost times three of what was scheduled for education.
According to Ben Bruce, the budget for education is ₦462 billion while security is expected to take as much as ₦1.3 trillion. Nigerians in their reactions have slammed the ”common sense senator” for not doing something about it on the floor of the House rather than bringing it up on social media.
