The supreme court has dismissed an appeal by the All Progressives Congress (APC) challenging the nullification of all primary elections in Zamfara.
The apex court while sitting on Friday, voided all votes cast for the party during the last general elections. It also ordered that the candidate who came second be sworn in — If he fulfils the constitutional requirement of getting one-quarter of the total votes cast in at least two-thirds of the local government areas of the state.
