President Muhammadu Buhari has lambasted both the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representative, Yakubu Dogara, over the slow passage of the 2018 budget.
Buhari who spoke while on Nigeria Television Authority(NTA) added that their actions make him rate them very low in terms of patriotism to Nigeria.
What he wrote:
President @MBuhari on the 7 months it took to pass the 2018 budget: “I asked Saraki and Dogara, how do they feel holding the budget to ransom, for seven months. It’s not me they’re hurting, it’s the entire country. In terms of patriotism,m I rated them very low.”
