Former senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani has reacted to the victory of the super eagles over South Africa at the ongoing tournament in Egypt.
Nigeria defeated the Bafana Bafana to progress to the semifinal of the tournament to set up a potential clash with Algeria or Ivory Coast.
Reacting to the victory, Shehu Sani warned the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration not to count this feat as an achievement for this administration as the losses of the team are also not accepted as failure of the government.

He tweeted:
“Don’t use Super Eagles successes for Political propaganda or count their victories as part of ‘the political achievement’;their defeats in the past has never been accepted as part of ‘failure of Government’.We should simply appreciate & celebrate them for flying despite all odds.”
I really thank God that those boys refused to allow Nigerian factors perturb them.
Never do well as the present government will always want to take unnecessary glory.
The history will never forget the damages this administration caused us………….Buhari has written his name in the bad book of Nigerian oppressors.
