The embattled Senator Elisha Abbo, who caught on video assaulting a nursing mother in an adult toy shop in Abuja, was on Tuesday seen engaging in an argument with his colleagues in the Senate Committee set up to investigate the incident.
During the hearing in Abuja, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, a member of the committee and Senator Abbo argued over his probe.

Tinubu expressed her displeasure over Abbo’s conduct, adding that the embattled Senator has refused to listen to the panel and was busy dictating to members of the committee.
“Do you want us to protect you, or do you want us to defend you, or you want to be on your own?”, she asked.
She also told the lawmaker that he could be suspended by the panel, having been constituted by the Senate and given such powers.
But Senator Abbo wouldn’t hear of any threat to suspend him, saying such an attempt will be resisted by him.
