The Nigeria Police Force has announced the arrest of Kidnap kingpin, Hamisu Wadume, in Taraba State.
Accirding to reports, Wadume was sighted within the premises of the Force Headquarters, Abuja on Tuesday.
Wadume was said to have been transported to Abuja on August 6, after his initial arrest by police officers on a covert operation which led to the death of there policemen and a civilian when troops of 93 Battalion based in Takum, Taraba State opened fire on them.

The unfortunate incident led to a face-off between the police and the Nigerian Army with a panel set-up to investigate the matter.
