Bestselling author and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Reno Omokri has asked the police for to reveal the identity of the abductors of the five pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG) kidnapped on Friday.
The General overseer of the church had announced on Friday that 5 of his minister had been abducted on their way to the convention and urged members to pray for their safe release.
Following reports that police have secured their release, Omokri said thanked the police force but also wished that they(police) will be this proactive when ordinary citizens are kidnapped.

He tweeted on Saturday thus: I congratulate @PoliceNG for rescuing all 5 pastors that were kidnapped on their way to RCCG’s camp. However, I hope they will be as PROACTIVE when ordinary Nigerians are kidnapped. Finally, can we know who abducted them? Was it herdsmen as reported?
