Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe(Abia South) has emerged the Minority Leader of the Ninth Senate.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has asked Senate Minority Leader, Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe, to seek forgiveness from God over his call on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign.

The Ekiti State Chairman of the ruling party, Paul Omotoso, said this while speaking at Saint James’ Anglican Church on Sunday.

He described the comment as not only political and sentimental, but that it failed in rational thinking.

In his words: “To me and many Nigerians, President Buhari is God sent. For anybody to say he should resign, that person must ask for forgiveness from God. “
