The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has denied knowledge of the social media bill which has been vehemently debated on social media.

The minister made this statement during an interview with Tim Sebastian of Conflict Zone, where he denied knowledge of the bill.

“Who is the author of that bill? I am not even aware of that bill. There is no such bill before the house. I can say it authoritatively,” he said.
