Nigerian actress, Iyabo Ojo has maintained that she will not be silenced over the matter involving Baba Ijesha and comedian Princess’ foster 14-year-old daughter.
Information Nigeria recalls that Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association (TAMPPAN) condemned her and Nkechi Blessing in a statement read by Jide Kosoko, Chairman TAMPPAN Board of Trustees during their meeting on Saturday.
Iyabo has, however, maintained that she will not be silenced by anyone as she took to her Instagram page on Monday to make a post about it.
According to the mother of two, silence is not golden in Nigeria. She stressed that the mentality of ‘silence is golden’ is why molested children are afraid to speak up because they will bullied to silence by the same society meant to protect them.
