Bukayo Saka Wins England Men’s Player Of The Year Award

Arsenal’s youngster, Bukayo Saka, has won the England Men’s Player of the Year award for the first time following some incredible performances for Gareth Southgate’s side as they reached the final of Euro 2020.

Saka beat the likes of West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice and Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane to the award, having shown a brilliant display of his talent over the past year.

The 21-year-old has already continued in that form this season, finding the net once and registering four assists in Arsenal’s opening seven Premier League games.

A group of young local grassroots players presented the award to him. Saka had no idea that the idea was awarded to him and was shocked to see the award. He said: “No way. I did not expect this honestly, so yeah, I’m honoured. It’s really nice.”
