Sanwo-Olu Suspends RTEAN Activities In Lagos

Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has ordered the immediate suspension of all activities of the state’s Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (R.T.E.A.N.).

Sola Giwa, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, announced this on Thursday.

Giwa said the suspension became imperative following some pockets of violence recorded in Ojo and Lagos Island on Wednesday, saying a 35- Man Caretaker Committee has been constituted to take over activities of the union henceforth.
