Police Boss To Sanction Police Orderly For Carrying Bag Of Atiku’s Wife

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has disclosed that it will sanction the police orderly of Titi Abubakar, wife of the presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Police Public Relations Officer, who made this known on Thursday, said the sanction for the orderly was because she was seen at an event carrying the handbag of Mrs Abubakar.

Mrs Abubakar gave her handbag to the police orderly while delivering a speech at the unveiling of the SHE Campaign, which she organised to rally the support of the women folk for her husband’s 2023 presidential bid.

Some Nigerians on Twitter found the act by Mrs Abubakar’s orderly undignifying for the Nigerian Police.

Reacting, Adejobi said: “This is not acceptable. We have commenced necessary action on this. We will fish her out and get across to the principal.

“The AIG Special Protection Unit has been contacted to assist us get the woman police. Gradually, we will sanitise the system.”
