Kemi Olunloyo, a controversial investigative journalist, took to social media to publicise her suicide intention.
On her verified Facebook profile, the 59-year-old journalist shared her reasons for considering suicide in an open manner.
She claimed to be quite depressed over the harsh treatment she had received following her incorrect forecast that Nigeria would lose to South Africa in the AFCON semifinals.
Speaking further, Kemi Olunloyo stated that her prediction was only an observation and not a prophecy, and she revealed that she was about to take the dangerous substance, Sniper.
She made a connection between her decision and the football match prediction, as well as the severe bullying she had gone through.
In a touching message, she lamented the ongoing harassment she had been subjected to.

She composed;
“I’m about to drink that Sniper now.
“Continue bullying me. I’ve done my 30 yrs February 9th 1994-2024. I left the country for you. I didn’t give anyone a prophecy about a game I know nothing about.
“I simply said Tyla has a strong spiritual energy that will make Nigeria lose and I dreamt 3 of our players were ill.
“Once I’m dead you will be happy. You ruined my career the last decade of it.
“Today marks my 30th year in a profession my own people forced me out of.
“Goodbye
