Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo has advised the Federal Government to obtain adequate information on the outlawed Boko Haram sect, to enable it overcome the terror group.
Obasanjo told newsmen at his Hilltop residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State shortly after being awarded with the award of the Grand Peace Legend by the African Peace Foundation, that there was the need to gather adequate intelligence on the violent group such as its motives, sponsors and activities.
He said government needed to ascertain the reasons for the killings and bombings carried out by the sect.
